Une semaine dans le Var

The Var

Tucked between Marseille and Cannes, the Var is a department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It takes its name from the river Var, which used to flow along its eastern border, but the border was moved in 1860. It's a bit of a hidden gem, with plenty to discover and explore in this beautiful area. You can explore the Var from our 4-star Le Montourey campsite in the Var department.
